There are two different handhelds available, a SPT1550 and a SPT800. They both use the same operating system and platform and perform all tasks identically. The main difference is in the packaging of the units. The SPT800 has a more rugged exterior and can be dropped from 1.2 metres onto concrete without any damage. Therefore the 1800 is larger and also more expensive. If the unit is to be used out on the road or in a hectic environment, then I strongly recommend the 1800 whereas the 1550 is ideal for Trade Show/Salesroom Environments.
