The procedure of writing orders has become outdated with the introduction of bar codes and hand held scanning systems. Orders can now be recorded in digital format, which greatly reduces the amount of errors associated with hand written orders and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of communicating with customers.
Fair Scan is determined to make this new technology accessible for all businesses. Previously businesses were required to authorise someone to design and develop a system, therefore pushing the development cost upwards of $10,000. It was then up to themselves to implement and train themselves on how to use the system. If problems occur then the designer would have to be contacted and then instructions issued over the phone. Fair Scan plans to simplify this process and make such a system more accessible to small businesses. We will also have a representative available at each Gift, Furniture and Toy Fair to ensure the smooth operation of the system.
Fair Scan intends to provide everything from software design, hardware purchases/leasing, implementation and training. Your staff doesn't have to be computer experts in order to operate the system. Required implementation and training is also provided.
